Originally from Downingtown, Pennsylvania, Chris attended Mansfield University of Pennsylvania where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Music Education.  While at Mansfield, Chris was a part of all three of the university’s vocal ensembles, toured five European countries with the Concert Choir, and performed at the MENC Eastern Division Conference and the PMEA State Conference as part of the Mansfieldians, Mansfield’s vocal jazz ensemble.

Prior to coming to Avon Grove, Chris taught 5th-12th grade general and vocal music at Williamson Jr/Sr High School and R.B. Walter Elementary School in Tioga, Pennsylvania.  Under his direction, the Williamson High School Concert Choir was selected in 2007 and 2008 to perform the National Anthem on opening night at the Little League World Series in Williamsport, PA and performed alongside the Mansfield University Concert Choir at their annual spring concert in April, 2008.
